The hiking trails listed below are just a sample of the hundreds of miles of trails maintained in Flaming Gorge Country. Along the Flaming Gorge-Uintas National Scenic Byway are several opportunities to get out of the car and stretch your legs a bit. Try the short interpretive Nature Trails at Sheep Creek, Moose Ponds, West Greens Lake and Aspen for an easy enlightening walk through a variety of habitats along this scenic drive. Challenge yourself in the alpine splendor  of the High Uintas Wilderness. Follow the fishermen down the Little Hole National Scenic Trail along the famous Green River. Wander the forests amongst abundant native wildlife. From a few minutes to multiple days, the diversity of Flaming Gorge trails offers an outdoor experience for all ages and abilities.
