Henrys Fork Wetlands

The Henry's Fork Waterfowl and Wetland Enhancement Project is an effort to increase waterfowl nesting and rearing habitat along the Henry's Fork in southwestern Wyoming. Historically, populations of ducks and other waterfowl have suffered dramatic declines due to loss of such shallow water wetlands.

The project includes 27 acres of ponds, 51 acres of shallow wetlands and another 300 acres of riparian and marsh habitat alongside Lake Flaming Gorge. A short walking trail with interpretive signs, overlooks and a picnic area have been constructed for visitor's enjoyment.
