West Greens Lake
West Greens Lake
West Greens Lake is one of the scenic interpretive sites along the Flaming Gorge Uintas National Scenic Byway. As such, it offers paved parking, an interpretive trail and scenic picnic sites. It is managed by Red Canyon Lodge, who privately stock Tiger & Brook Trout in the 16 acre lake. In partnership with Utah DWR, the Lodge also put in a fully accessible floating fishing pier.
Red Canyon Lodge offers the public free catch and release fishing here and no state fishing license is required. The lake is popular with the local wildlife as well, from beaver to moose and is one of Flaming Gorge Country's best birding spots.
