This trail begins in two places. For a relatively flat, 4 mile ride around the Dutch John Airport. Start at the juction of the Airport Road and the Overlooks loop. Don't forget to catch the spur in the Southeast part of the ride that overlooks Red Canyon with the river below. Start 2 begins at east end of Arch Dam Campground. The trail climbs about 300 vertical feet over .8 miles before it connects to the Overlooks loop. Overlook number 1 looks over Flaming Gorge Reservoir. Overlook number 2 looks over the Town of Dutch John. Overlook 3 looks out over Little Hole and Brown's Park out in the distance. Overlook 4 looks out over the river in Red Canyon. This overlook requires a short ride on a single track.
